Who should buy this book? middle schools where Shull’s previous book, The Swap, is popular To whom would you recommend this book? Students who read Shull’s previous book, The Swap, will want to read this one, as will other middle school students who like light, fun fiction. That’s a pretty powerful message for kids.Īnything you didn’t like about it? I was really bothered by the fact that Frannie’s real mother and father seem to have no redeemable qualities, a fact that didn’t change as the book progressed. Frannie also discovered that she is in charge of her own future and if her parents won’t support her she can make her own destiny and even assemble her own support system apart from her family. What did you like about the book? I loved seeing the main character, Frannie, grow and change as she bounced from body to body she got to be a pop star, sail a boat across the ocean, live with a family on a farm and more.
